Republicans last week voted on the final draft of the GOP 2016 platform, characterized by the Log Cabin Republicans as “the most anti-LGBT Platform in the Party’s 162-year history.”
Republican delegates voted to include provisions supporting state laws to restrict transgender rights on bathroom use, support of conversion therapy for gay people “by saying that parents should be free to make medical decisions about their children without interference.”
